On April 19, China Railway Express (Wuhan) added a new route. A test cabinet transported back by China Railway Express (Wuhan) was sent from Wuhan to Keelung, Taiwan. The "sea transport" mode of transportation marks the official opening of the "Europe-Wuhan-Taiwan" rail-sea multimodal transport channel.
This batch of goods was loaded and departed from Duisburg, Germany, and arrived in Wuhan after entering Alashankou. It was forwarded to Ningbo through the domestic trade railway, and then directly arrived at Keelung, Taiwan by sea from Ningbo Port. The opening of the new multimodal transport channel provides a new logistics solution for the transportation of goods between Europe and Taiwan, and realizes the efficient integration and connection of the Maritime Silk Road and the Land Silk Road.
According to reports, the entire transportation time is expected to be 30 days, which is about 14 days shorter than traditional sea transportation. The speed is faster, the timeliness is more guaranteed, and it is green and environmentally friendly, which effectively reduces the comprehensive logistics cost of enterprises.
In recent years, Hanou International has successively opened up five transit trade channels including "Japan-Wuhan-Europe/Mongolia" multimodal transport, "Korea-Wuhan-Europe" two-way, "Europe-Wuhan-Hong Kong", giving full play to the (Wuhan) channel advantages, integrating Wuhan's railway, water transportation, port and other resources, providing support for the construction of a strong market in the central region and an open inland highland, and helping Wuhan to accelerate the formation of a new international logistics hub.
